The marathon will be held in five global cities
- Boston, Dubai, Shanghai, London and San Francisco. The event is open to all
people above 18 years of age and invites all running, walking, health
conscious or socially conscious enthusiasts to come participate. Let's make the Run In Blue vision of Health, Happiness and Humanity a reality. 2011 was the inaugural year of the event and the run was held on 8th April 2011 in Dubai, 9th April in London and San Francisco and 10th April in Boston. Close to 500 people participated in the event worldwide.The
charity recipient for the inaugural Run In Blue 2011 was the Red Cross
and Red Crescent movements. More specifically, their fund for assistance
during international disasters such as the recent earthquake in Japan.
